Paving Schedule – Plymouth Street, Union Street & South Street

Milling operations on Plymouth Street, Union Street, and South Street will be completed on August 28.

Raising Castings: August 31 and September 1, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Paving: September 3–4 and September 8–11, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Driveway Aprons
Driveway aprons will be required as part of the paving work.

Parking Restrictions
Residents are asked to refrain from parking on the street during this work. Parked vehicles may interfere with paving operations, delay project completion, and may be subject to towing.
Residents should expect traffic delays and temporary interruptions during paving operations. Please allow additional travel time and plan accordingly.

Access
o Residents will continue to have access to their driveways.
o Access through the work area will be maintained for emergency and essential vehicles.
o Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and follow all directions provided by DPW crews.
o Please expect delays and allow extra time when traveling through the area during construction.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, tomorrow evening’s presentation on Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs) has been postponed.
The meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Paving Schedule – Plymouth Street, Union Street & South Street

Paving work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 25th, with milling operations on Plymouth Street, Union Street, and South Street.

Milling: Milling operations will begin Tuesday, August 25th, and continue Wednesday, August 26th, through Friday, August 28th. Milling will then continue Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, until completed. Please expect traffic delays in these areas. There will be no detours.

Raising Castings: Schedule TBD.

Final Wearing Course: Schedule TBD.

Driveway Aprons: Driveway aprons will be required as part of the paving work.

Additional information regarding the dates for casting adjustments, the final wearing course, and driveway apron work will be provided once the schedule is confirmed.
