The Umatilla National Forest is taking public comments on the 54 North Fuels Reduction and Huckleberry Restoration Project. The deadline to comment is Friday, Sept. 25.

The project aims to reduce wildfire risk and improve huckleberry, other important foods and wildlife habitats.

Community members and partners are encouraged to share their thoughts and help shape the project. Your input supports long-term forest health and safety.
