What is a business type you think is needed in Pendleton that doesn't exist, or something that needs expanded?

I feel like there could be another grocery store or market on the East end of town, so that folks from Mission or Riverside don't have to drive across town to shop. Especially with the new housing development going in.

Everyone with respiratory issues be safe with the smoke today.

I lived in Salem during the Santiam Canyon Fire in 2020. Over 400,000 acres of timber, 4 towns over 25 miles affected with every structure in 2 towns completely destroyed.

Please be kind to one another. I understand how worrisome waking up to a town full of smoke can be. I had flashbacks this morning, and my anxiety was triggered. The photo is what I woke up to in September 2020 for many days.

I am thankful for all of the local and wildland firefighters, and those that support them, who are risking their own safety for the greater good. They are true heroes. As are the farmers coming to their neighbors aid in trying times.
