The City of Peñitas reminds residents that increased bee activity and swarming are common this time of year. While most swarms are temporary and harmless if left undisturbed, it’s important to keep a safe distance and avoid provoking bees.

⚠️ Africanized bees may become aggressive when protecting their colony. Residents are responsible for contacting professional bee removal services.

🚨 If you are stung and experience a severe reaction, call 9-1-1 immediately. 🐝

We regret to inform you that the upcoming Golf Tournament is being postponed. Unfortunately, the greens/fairways at our current location will not be ready to provide the quality experience we aim to offer our participants.

At this time, the Fire Department is actively searching for an alternate golf course that is tournament-ready, so we can ensure the best possible event for everyone involved.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will share the new date and location as soon as they are confirmed.
