Upcoming walking and open gym schedule at Rockingham Recreation Center for August 17-22! All open gym sessions are $5 per participant (walking is always FREE), payment accepted via check or card only.

Our basketball league is offered for boys of all skill levels. Players will learn fundamental skills such as defense, dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork in a positive, fun and supportive environment. Emphasis is placed on skill development, sportsmanship, and building confidence both on and off the court. Participants will practice regularly and have a six game season, with balanced teams to ensure fair and enjoyable play. Our league encourages equal participation, helping every player grow while having fun and making new friends. The season will begin with a minicamp hosted by your local high school coaches and players. The minicamp will be a 4-day minicamp focused on skills and drills. After the minicamp, players will be placed on teams and will start practicing. Practices will be Monday – Thursday (Locations/Times are TBD). Games will be played on, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at the Rockingham Recreation Center (Game Schedule is TBD). Each player will receive a reversible jersey. (WE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERING ANY TEAM/COACH REQUESTS).

We love partnering with Bridgewater College Football every year to kickoff our tackle football season the right way! 🏈

Thank you Rockingham Co. Parks & Rec for having our staff out to work with the tackle teams in the area. This staff loves football and seeing young players work hard!

We are currently doing work on fields 2 and 4 at Rockingham Park, so they will be closed until further notice! Even when open, they are available by reservation only. We will update once project is complete.
