2nd grade would like to thank the PKVES PTO for helping to fund, through a generous grant, and make our Math Carnival possible this year! We would also like to thank all of the parent volunteers who helped make this possible! Students rotated through 14 math games in the morning earning tickets along the way! Then in the afternoon they had the opportunity to spend their tickets on snacks, face paint, prizes and more! Such a fun way to review math together as a grade level! 😀🍿🎡🎟️

As one of our employees recognized for perfect attendance this year, Paula Branner, school secretary at Peak View Elementary , earned a special opportunity to take the day off while Division Superintendent, Dr. Larry Shifflett stepped in to cover her role for the day.

From busy morning arrivals to lunchtime and afternoon dismissal, there was never a dull moment! We appreciate our front office staff who are often the first friendly faces students, families, and staff see each day.

⚽ Staff vs. Student Kickball Showdown! ⚽

Today was one for the books as our staff took on some students in an exciting kickball game! 🎉

Back at our Harvest Fest this fall, a 4th grade student won an auction item for a Staff vs. Student Kickball Game—and today was finally game day! From big kicks to lots of laughs, it was such a fun way to celebrate and make memories together.

A special shoutout to Dr. Shifflett for stepping in as our universal pitcher and helping make the game even more fun for everyone involved! 👏

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and cheered us on. We love opportunities like this that bring our school community together. ❤️💙

The excitement is real, the games are ready, and we cannot wait for a day full of fun! To make sure tomorrow is a total success, here is your official Field Day Night-Before Checklist 📝👇
• ☀️ Sunscreen FIRST: Please apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school.
• 🩳 Dress Code: Regular, comfortable athletic clothes are a must. Please note: No bathing suits allowed.
• 👟 Footwear: Please wear sneakers for safety during the running and games!
• 👕 Pack a Change of Clothes: Water games will get wet and messy! Please pack a full change of clothes (including dry shoes/socks and underwear) in their backpack.
• 🎒 Don't Forget a Towel: A labeled towel is highly recommended for drying off between events.
Get a good night's sleep, prep your gear, and let’s make tomorrow unforgettable! 🎉🏆

Last week, our students had an absolute blast exploring the amazing nature play stations set up by our wonderful school counselors. From sensory exploration to outdoor creativity, it was incredible to see our kids connect with nature—and each other!
