Get "caught" being safe with your helmet on for some free ice cream!🚲🍦

The Yates County District Attorney's Office is partnering with the Penn Yan Police Department and Seneca Farms to promote bicycle safety in our community.

Throughout the summer, Penn Yan Police officers will be on the lookout for children who are wearing their bicycle helmets while riding. Kids caught practicing safe riding habits may receive a special "ticket" good for a free kiddie ice cream treat at Seneca Farms!

Wearing a bicycle helmet is one of the easiest and most effective ways to help prevent serious injuries while riding. We are proud to partner with the Yates County District Attorney's Office and Seneca Farms to encourage safe riding and reward children for making smart choices.

So, put on your helmet, ride safely, and you just might get caught doing the right thing!
