Students celebrated Mental Health Awareness Day by “Chalking the Walk” and promoting awareness, kindness, and mental wellness throughout the school community.

Students and staff also showed their support by wearing green today!

Today we celebrated PYA Decision Day 2026 in the sweetest way possible! 🎓🧁

Whether our students are heading to college, entering a trade program, going into the military or stepping directly into the workforce, we are incredibly proud of each path they’ve chosen. Every journey is meaningful, and today was all about honoring their hard work, growth, and bright futures ahead.

The celebration was filled with cupcakes, laughter, and lots of memories. Students signed the Class of 2026 banner, captured fun moments at the photo booth, and took time to read heartfelt notes from their teachers. We also shared thank you notes to recognize the support systems that helped them reach this milestone.

A special thank you to Ms. Ross for the wonderful idea and for putting this event together—it truly made the day unforgettable!

To our seniors: your determination and resilience inspire us every day. No matter where your next step takes you, you will always be part of the PYA family.

We are so incredibly proud of our student artists! They created some beautiful and unique pieces for the Student Art Show at the Yates Art Center! Great job!

Student-athletes recently engaged in a meaningful book study of Hard Hat by Jon Gordon, exploring themes of teamwork, leadership, and commitment. After completing the book, they gathered for a collaborative “lunch and learn” session with librarian Mr. Mumby, where they synthesized their insights and shared perspectives. This discussion allowed each student’s individual reflections to contribute to a deeper, collective understanding, reinforcing the power of working together both on and off the field.
