I never planned to serve more than one term (3 yrs) on the Pennsauken BOE but God had other plans for me by serving four instead.
I'm grateful to have helped install two wonderful Superintendents, added security & security entrances to all our schools, an AFJROTC program and the Alumni Veterans Memorial Plaza.
We built a new sports complex & fieldhouse, revamped our historical building into a K-8 STEM school. We are in the process of building a STEM wing onto our high school to complete that program.
We added several CTE trade programs, such as culinary, baking, welding, electrical and HVAC to add to cosmetology, carpentry and auto.
At our board meetings, we added a 'moment of silence' after the flag salute to remind ourselves that we have God to answer to for the decisions and direction we take our school district, to ask Him for wisdom and to watch over our students, staff and community.
We eliminated the party politics and are gratefully enjoying these several years of peace and growth, allowing us to focus on student achievement.
I thank the Good Lord for allowing me to be part of it all. My prayers will continue for you. ❤️
