CORRECTED NOTICE:
PROPERTIES AFFECTED WILL BE THOSE LOCATED EAST OF Q STREET (not west of) AND SOUTH OF 14TH STREET.
The Penrose Water District will be performing maintenance on a pressure reducing valve serving the southeastern area of our distribution system on Monday, January 19, 2026, starting at approximately 9:30 a.m. The process may take several hours.
Customers taking water service in areas of the system south of 14th Street and west of Q Street may experience periods of lowered pressure, including possible temporary outages while the work is performed.
We appreciate your patience and consideration while we perform this maintenance and please call our office if you'd like additional information.

The Penrose Water District will be continuing to perform annual flushing of the distribution lines starting through most of July. This process will temporarily cause the water at some services to be cloudy and possibly dirty while the lines in your area are flushed. Some reduced pressure may also be experienced. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience any might experience and will work with our customers to restore the service to normal as quickly as possible.

Penrose Water District would like to thank the community for conserving water as requested during the construction work performed at the water treatment plant.
That portion of the project which required the water treatment plant to be taken off-line was completed ahead of schedule, without complication, and the water treatment plant is now back in operation. We expect our storage tanks to reach normal operating levels by mid-day tomorrow - Thursday, 3/18.
With the water treatment plant operational, our customers can return to their normal water practices and again - thank you for you help.
