Hey everyone!

The holidays are just around the corner, and we want to make sure every child in our community has a wonderful Christmas.

We are partnering with Feed the Hungry of Auburn to host a toy drive at the Penryn Fire Station located at 7206 Church Street in Penryn.

Please come down and drop off new, unwrapped toys.

Engine 41 along with aid from Penryn Fire, Auburn Fire and Placer Hills Fire responded to a multi-vehicle accident on Taylor Road near Old State Highway. The incident involved one cement truck and one passenger vehicle. Firefighters extricated one victim and AMR ambulance transported the one patient to a regional trauma center.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by CHP. PCSO responded and assisted with traffic control. Taylor road is currently closed in both directions.

Last night Penryn Fire responded to assist Cal Fire with a structure fire off Highway 193 in Lincoln.
