⚓ NETC Weekly Wrap-Up
This week across the Naval Education and Training Command domain, Sailors, students, and future officers continued developing the skills, leadership, and warfighting mindset that keep our Navy ready to answer the call.
🎓 Naval Service Training Command – Midshipman candidates participating in New Student Indoctrination Cycle 1 conducted small arms training aboard USS Wisconsin at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes. Through dry-fire and live-fire exercises, these future officers strengthened their proficiency, confidence, and commitment to safe weapons handling as part of the Navy ROTC Centennial celebration.
📡 Surface Combat Systems Training Command Great Lakes – Congratulations to the newest Operations Specialists graduating "A" School. Through rigorous classroom instruction, simulations, and hands-on training, these Sailors developed the critical skills needed to support fleet operations and stand the watch around the globe.
⚓ Navy Recruiting Orientation Unit (NORU) – Congratulations to NCC Wenzel on reenlisting and continuing a career dedicated to serving Sailors and supporting the Navy's recruiting mission. Thank you for your continued commitment to excellence.
📚 U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy – Green Group explored Navy heritage aboard USS Constitution, connecting the lessons of our past with the leadership principles that guide today's senior enlisted leaders. The experience reinforced the importance of tradition, service, and Navy pride.
