⚓ NETC Weekly Wrap-Up
Across the Naval Education and Training Command domain this week, Sailors and students continued building the skills, resilience, and readiness required to support Fleet operations around the globe.
🏊 Officer Training Command Newport – Students in Officer Development School Class 26050 completed their 3rd Class Swim Qualifications at the LT Michael P. Murphy Combat Training Pool, reinforcing the importance of water survival skills and physical readiness for every Sailor entering naval service.
⚓ Recruit Training Command – Congratulations to the Navy’s newest Sailors who graduated boot camp on May 21, 2026. These Sailors now join the Fleet ready to serve with honor, courage, and commitment.
💣 Mine Warfare Training Center – Congratulations to the graduates of Mineman “A” School Class 26-100 as they completed the next step in preparing to support the Navy’s mine warfare mission and Fleet readiness.
🚨 Surface Warfare Schools Command ELS Yokosuka – Service members from multiple commands participated in high-intensity damage control training, responding to simulated shipboard emergencies and sharpening the lifesaving skills required to protect Sailors and maintain mission readiness at sea.
From swim qualifications and technical schools to emergency response training, NETC continues delivering the world-class training that develops capable, confident, and combat-ready warfighters.
