Independence for the Blind of West Florida Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.
Our Mission: To empower the Blind and Visually Impaired in Northwest Florida achieve Maximum Independence.
We teach independent living skills, computer and adaptive technology, vocational training, and employment-related services to people who are blind or visually impaired to help improve their Quality of Life. We serve the blind and visually impaired in ten counties: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, and Gulf Counties, a 7,500 square mile area of responsibility! Your donations, be it money, volunteering, expertise or lending a hand, enables us to make a difference to those we serve. We sincerely appreciate All that help us continue delivering on our Mission Statement.
