Come see the transformation for yourself — and yes, there’s still plenty of courtesy curbside parking available, including designated handicap accessible parking spaces.

Just look for the blue signs with 2-digit zone numbers and you're good to go. 💙🅿️

Grand Fiesta Pensacola Parade PARKING TIPS + INFO

I. With the parade route on Jefferson Street, we encourage everyone to plan ahead and allow extra time before heading to one of Pensacola’s biggest celebrations filled with floats, throws, beads, music, and Fiesta of Five Flags fun Friday night!

II. No parking on the parade route, so check for the parking areas that are closed for the parade on the map here.

III. Be sure to check our interactive parking map before heading downtown for all other courtesy city parking locations (look for the blue signs with 2-digits) at parkpensacola.com.

Friendly Reminder - The Jefferson Street Parking Garage will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance starting May 25, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. 🚧

During the three-day intermittent closure, all vehicles must be removed during scheduled maintenance hours.

Vehicles remaining in the garage may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Visit parkpensacola.com to see on-street parking and city-operated parking lot options during the closure.

Maintenance is expected to be completed by Wednesday, May 27, weather permitting.

Today’s the day, Pensacola. Palafox is back. 🚧➡️✨

Beginning today, Palafox Street reopens as a pedestrian-friendly corridor through May 31 — giving the community a chance to experience the transformation up close, on foot and by bike, before vehicle traffic returns.

Thank you to Mayor Reeves and everyone who helped bring this incredible downtown improvement project to life. From construction crews and city staff to downtown businesses and the community that continued to show up throughout every phase — this transformation was truly a collective effort. ❤️

Now it’s time to stroll, shop, dine, explore, and experience the new Palafox.

On foot. On your bike. And soon… in your car. 🚶‍♀️🚲🚘

Update: Jefferson Street Parking Garage Maintenance Schedule

After hearing concerns from the community, we worked with our maintenance contractor to adjust the start of the Jefferson Street Parking Garage annual maintenance. The contractor has agreed to begin work on Monday, May 25 at 8 p.m. instead of the previously scheduled date.

The garage will now be temporarily closed for intermittent nightly maintenance from Monday, May 25 through Wednesday, May 27 (8 p.m. – 7 a.m.).

During scheduled maintenance hours, all vehicles must be removed from the garage. Vehicles remaining in the garage may be towed at the owner’s expense.

We appreciate the feedback we received and the contractor’s flexibility in adjusting the schedule to help reduce disruption over the holiday weekend.

Gallery Night Parking Tips: Park Smart, Walk Easy, Enjoy the Festa Italiana Fun 🎨🇮🇹

This month’s Festa Italiana celebration is lighting up downtown with art, culture, live entertainment, food vendors, and more — with the footprint still focused along Jefferson Street.

Make it easy on yourself and take advantage of City parking options throughout downtown. Park once and walk right into the festivities.

🚗 GALLERY NIGHT PARKING:
There is no parking within the Gallery Night posted zones after 3pm.
Good news: There’s plenty of FREE City of Pensacola curbside parking on nearby streets and parking lots, including:
• Bayfront Parkway (surface lots)
• South Palafox (surface lots)
• Spring Street, Baylen Street, Main Street & Cedar Street
• Select additional locations
