🚗 💙 Making City Parking Easier to Spot

As we get closer to the October 5 return to managed parking, you’ll notice something new around Downtown Pensacola: new City Parking signs with a distinct look designed to make it easier to know where you’re parking.

🔵 Look for the blue signs.
🔢 The two-digit zone number is clearly displayed in the bottom right corner.

The new signage is designed to make it easier to distinguish City Parking from private parking and quickly identify the City parking options available to you.

Did you know that more than 60% of Downtown Pensacola’s City Parking spaces are always free? That’s right! And there are even more opportunities to park for free throughout the week.

Whether you’re heading to a doctor’s appointment, stopping by your favorite shop, meeting friends for lunch or taking care of downtown errands, knowing your options can make your visit a little easier.

💙 Here are a few ways to park for FREE:

✔️ More than 60% of City Parking spaces are free
✔️ Sundays and federal holidays
✔️ Mondays TOO!, if approved by City Council at its September 24 meeting
✔️ All City Parking is free for vehicles displaying a valid disabled parking placard or license plate

As we get ready for the October 5 return to managed parking, we’re highlighting the many ways to park in Downtown Pensacola. Whether you’re here for a quick errand, a day of shopping, dinner with friends or your favorite downtown event, there’s a parking option to fit the way you Downtown!

Here’s a quick look at what’s available:

🅿️ 1,600 FREE City-owned parking spaces throughout downtown (including the 30-min FREE parking lot next to the Jefferson St. Parking Garage)

♿ FREE parking for all vehicles with accessible placard or tag

FACT: You have options!

You can pay for City Parking at any City Parking pay station, including the Jefferson Street Garage, using cash or coins.
💵 Cash? Yes.
🪙 Coins? Yes.
📱 App? Yes.
💳 Credit card? Yes.

*One important reminder: Pay stations do not give change, so pay with the amount you need.

And remember how to find City Parking: 🔵 Look for the blue signs with 2-digit zone numbers.
