Urgent Parking and Traffic Reminder: Homecoming Parade

Vehicles parked along the parade route must be moved immediately or they will be at risk of ticketing and towing.

Please review the following parking restrictions and traffic modifications for today's events:
Parade Parking and Closures (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

There is absolutely no parking permitted on Hancock Street between Park Street and 6th Street, as well as on 6th Street between Hancock Street and Carroll Street. Vehicles remaining in these areas after 2:00 PM are subject to being ticketed and towed. The parade begins at 4:00 PM on Park Street, moving south on Hancock Street and concluding on 6th Street near Carroll Street.

HOMECOMING PARADE AND FIREWORK PARKING AND TRAFFIC NOTICE:

Happy homecoming week! Here are the notices for the parade and fireworks Saturday.

Parade:
There is no parking on Hancock St between Park and 6th St, and 6th St between Hancock and Carroll St from 2 pm to 6 pm. The Parade will start at 4 pm on Park St, go south on Hancock St, and end on 6th St near Carroll St.

Fireworks:
Shortly after the parade ends, Lowell St will be closed from the Charles Mears State Park entrance to the turnaround at the west end. Closer to sunset the road closure will move up to Mears St.
After the fireworks Lowell St to Hancock will be east bound traffic only. When you reach Hancock St all traffic on Lowell, Concord, and Park St may go north or east only. Traffic on 1st or 2nd St may go south or east only. No traffic will be allowed to go west bound west of Hancock St.
