📢 PUBLIC NOTICE – REFERENDUM PUBLIC HEARING 🚒

The Limestone Township Fire Protection District Board of Trustees invites all residents to attend a Public Hearing regarding the upcoming referendum.

This hearing is an opportunity to learn about the proposed referendum, why it is being considered, how the funds would be used, and what it could mean for our community. District leadership will provide an overview of the proposal and answer questions from residents.

Your voice matters, and we encourage everyone to attend, ask questions, and become informed before Election Day.

May was a big month for one of our cadets!

After graduating from high school, passing the NREMT EMT-B exam, and completing the final physical requirements to transition from cadet to firefighter, Firefighter Murphy has achieved some incredible milestones.

We are proud of the hard work, dedication, and commitment Firefighter Murphy has shown throughout this journey. Thank you to his family for allowing Firefighter Murphy to become of our family at Limestone.

Congratulations on these accomplishments, we can’t wait to see all that he achieves in the future!

🚨 Training Opportunity 🚨

Peoria County Outdoor Warning Siren Workshop on May 27th at 6:00 PM at Limestone Fire Protection District’s Central Firehouse.

7800 W Plank Rd
Peoria IL, 61604

This workshop brings together multiple agencies and the community to review siren locations and coverage, testing procedures, activation protocols, and maintenance responsibilities. It’s a great opportunity to better understand how our outdoor warning systems operate.
