Please make time this weekend to come out and cheer on our PPOA Charities sponsored team at Paloma Park this Saturday (January 21, 2023). Our first game is scheduled to start at 9AM against the Glendale Fire Department. Our softball teams roster includes the following players: Command Staff, Patrol Officers, Detectives, PSO’s, Administrative staff, Property/Evidence Tech, SRO, Traffic-VCU, IT, and a Communications Supervisor. This softball team is full of talent, and would love to have some support cheering them on towards the championship.

This fun filled day even has a Home Run Derby starting at 1PM. Several teams will be there to include Glendale Fire, Glendale PD, Surprise PD, El Mirage PD, Pinal County SO, AZ DOC (2 teams), Prescott Valley PD, Peoria Fire, Avondale PD, Special Olympics, and Phoenix PD.

See you Saturday morning at Paloma Park! **Seating is limited so bring chairs if possible**

**SPECIAL EVENT ALERT**

Come out and join the Peoria Police Officers Association Charities and Peoria Police Officers Association as a team of officers and detectives take on TEAM AZ Special Olympics flag football team one final time as we help them prepare for the USA Games (National Championship) in Orlando Florida. This is a family event taking place at Sunrise Mountain High School, 21200 N 83rd Ave in Peoria, on May 1 at 9:30 am! We will have a DJ, Special guest announcers, pep band, cheer leaders, and a BBQ lunch courtesy of PPOA CHARITIES! Special guests likely to be there also! Let’s send these Olympians off in BIG STYLE! Peoria Police Officer’s Association Charities is proud to announce that we partnered with the Peoria Police Officer’s Association to donate the remaining funds needed for their fundraiser to the Special Olympics AZ Football team.

With these remaining funds, the team will be representing Arizona in the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando in June!

This team is legit and should compete for the championship! In mid December a group of our officers, detectives, and dispatchers (led by some former NCAA D1 athletes)took on Team AZ and lost a close game to these awesome athletes! Big things coming for Team AZ Football! Good luck! Let’s Go Team AZ 🏈💪🏻💙! Peoria Police AZ
