This is exciting! We were invited by University of Iowa Aircare to partner with them for a blood drive through Impact Life in Davenport on Monday, June 8th. As we are coming up on the summer months, the need for blood products always increases with increased accidents. Please join us for this life-saving mission and maybe grab some swag while you're there. Be sure to pre-register!

This was such a powerful project that we were blessed to be a part of.

Deputy Neblung has responded to 1000s of crashes throughout his career, but when the phone rang and his son had been in a terrible accident, he saw the other side. Brennen truly had God on his side that night, but his seatbelt also played a huge factor in his survival. Multiple fractures, multiple surgeries, ECMO, rehab, and over $1 million in medical bills, but he is alive to tell his story. Him and his dad are making it their mission to spread the word about driving safety.

As we move into the summer driving season, Bobby’s Crash Foundation wants to remind everyone that one decision behind the wheel can change everything.

This photo represents more than vehicles and uniforms. They represent the real people who respond when a crash happens, law enforcement, fire, EMS, Air Crews, and even those who are called when someone does not make it home.

We are thankful for the support and involvement of OSF Life Flight, CGH Medical Center, Illinois State Police, Whiteside County Sheriff's Office, Rock Falls Fire Department, McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory. Each of them plays a role in helping show the full reality of what can happen after a serious crash.

Brennen’s story is a reminder that unsafe choices behind the wheel do not just affect the driver. They affect families, friends, first responders, and entire communities.

Slow down. Buckle up. Put the phone away. Make good choices.

We had some students from the Peru Area Career Center stop by our hangar today to enhance the interests and knowledge of the aviation field. They were able to learn the journey that comes with pursuing a career as a pilot, nurse or mechanic. Thanks for showing us your interest and keep working hard!!

Sunsets are always beautiful from a Chicago rooftop! And Pilot Jason was ecstatic that he was able to fly over Wrigley Field to see hos favorite team playing.

We are thankful that high schools do mock prom exercises to show the importance of driving safe on these big nights. We would much rather do a simulation, than to respond to the real thing.

Tonight, Spring Valley Fire Protection District hosted a life flight training at our station. Afterwards we set up a landing zone at Kirby Park. This helps with allowing our firefighters to get familiarized with how to set up a landing area for the helicopter along with knowing how to assist the life flight crew.
