Peoria County 4-H 4-H is a national youth organization that teaches leadership, citizenship and life skills. We are open to ALL youth.

The Peoria County 4-H Fair is always one of the biggest highlights of the year for local 4-H members. This past year, the fair looked a little different. But if there is one thing 4-H youth are known for, it is their ability to adapt and rise to the occasion. Peoria County 4-H members showed up in a big way. Fair exhibitors brought more projects than the previous year. The increase can be credited to the growing number of workshops and Special Interest (SPIN) clubs offered throughout the year.

University of Illinois Extension is seeking an individual to provide leadership for program delivery in Fulton, Mason, Peoria, and Tazewell counties.

The County Extension Director is responsible for local program management, personnel management, interpersonal effectiveness, organizational leadership and development, fiscal management, and facilities management.
In this role, you will...
• Provide administrative supervision of all unit staff.
• Serve as the local representative of Extension.
• Facilitate and establish relationships with all audiences.
• Assess local needs and identify program priorities.
• Collaborate and partner with people and organizations to improve the lives of individuals and the communities in which they live.

Registration is officially open for Camp Kaleido!

Camp Kaleido is a full-day art immersion experience where youth, ages 8-12, explore the spectrum of creative expression through hands-on workshops, collaborative projects, and experimentation. Led by the 4-H Creative Collective Art Ambassador Team, campers rotate through stations that highlight visual, performing, and interdisciplinary arts, each designed to spark imagination, build skills, and celebrate individuality.

• Location: 4-H Memorial Camp, Monticello
• Cost: $50 (lunch included)
