Calling All Former Ms. Koener Students! Remember sitting on the student side of the table for Centennial’s Interview Day? Now it’s your turn to sit on the other side!

This year marks Ms. Koener’s 20th year at Centennial, and we’re inviting her former students who participated in Interview Day to come back, pay it forward, and interview the next generation of Centennial Coyotes.

What better way to celebrate 20 years of Ms. Koener’s impact than to return to Centennial and help today’s students prepare for their futures?

Centennial 11th grader, Praxton Yee, was selected by the City of Peoria for his electrical box design in this past spring’s Utility Box Art Wrap Competition.

His artwork can be viewed on the southwest corner of 87th Ave and Peoria.
The city of Peoria features community art utility and electrical box wraps designed by local students at major intersections. The vibrant vinyl wraps transform plain metal utility cabinets into public art.

The intent of the project is to beautify the utility boxes, bringing art to otherwise utilitarian surfaces and giving artists an opportunity to develop public art experience. The art enhances neighborhood aesthetics and deters graffiti.

Today is the Day. Our first meeting of the year is this Thursday., August 13th at 6pm in the Library! We’d love to have you join us — every helping hand makes a difference! Go Coyotes!

The Centennial Coyote Booster Club is a group of parents, families, alumni, and community members working together to support Centennial students and help make our school community even stronger. We help with school activities, special projects, fundraising, and other opportunities that benefit our students.

Everyone is welcome at our meetings! You don’t have to be an officer or make a major commitment to get involved. Come hear what we’re working on, share your ideas, volunteer when you can, or simply learn more about how you can support Centennial.
