Please be advised of the following closures for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 7:

• City Hall
• Peoria Library branches. Please note that outside book drops will be unavailable during the closure.
• The William L. Patena Community Center

The Rio Vista Recreation Center will close at 4 p.m.

"My Asian Heart" is a musical journey into Pam Morita's cultural Japanese heritage and life. Through Pam's original music and a few standards, the show covers important events in her life as well as in her family's history. The music demonstrates the resilience of the Japanese community through adversity, and concludes that love and acceptance overcomes all.
