We were happy to welcome 13 medical students and 3 staff members from UICOMP on last Thursday afternoon!

The visit gave students an opportunity to learn more about Crittenton Centers, explore our services, and discover how they can support the needs of a healthy community. Many of the students came from outside the Peoria area, making this a great opportunity to connect with the community they are now part of. We loved hearing their thoughtful questions and seeing their interest in the work we do!

The group also rolled up their sleeves to help with several volunteer projects, including sanitizing toys in our play areas, wrapping boxes for Festival of Trees décor, and cutting out tree tags.

Thank you to UICOMP for spending the afternoon with us and helping make a difference for the children and families we serve!

We truly couldn’t do what happens at Crittenton Centers every day without the support of organizations who believe in our mission and the children and families we serve.

On Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming a few employees from Philippi-Hagenbuch to Crittenton Centers for a check presentation and tour of our facility. They generously donated $2,500, which will help provide much-needed care, resources, and support to the children and families in our care.

We are incredibly thankful for their generosity and continued support of our community!

If you know someone who works at Philippi-Hagenbuch, be sure to thank them for helping make a difference for local children and families!

Our next Father Support Group is happening Tuesday, October 27 at 5:00 p.m. at Crittenton Centers.

This month, we’ll be discussing “Community Resources That Help Fathers” and exploring resources that can help you and your family navigate some of the challenges of fatherhood.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with other dads, share experiences, and learn about resources available in our community. Food will be provided!

This six-week course will cover everything you need to feel more prepared for your birthing journey, including:
