Hello, June!

We are currently working with several clients experiencing homelessness. As temperatures rise, everyday items many of us take for granted can make a tremendous difference in their comfort, health, and safety.

Items such as:
+ Sunscreen
+ Bug spray
+ Reusable water bottles
+ Wet wipes
+ Deodorant
+ Personal hygiene items

may seem small, but they can provide dignity, relief, and support during an incredibly difficult time.

Drop-off Hours:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

🛒 Prefer to shop online? Donations can be sent directly through our Walmart and Amazon registries:
https://crittentoncenters.org/ways-to-give/wishlist/

The next time you're shopping, we encourage you to add one extra item to your cart. A simple purchase can help a neighbor facing challenges most of us never have to think about.

Thank you for helping us care for children and families throughout our community. Your generosity brings comfort, hope, and practical support when it is needed most.

The Crisis Nursery received a call from an overwhelmed mother experiencing domestic violence who needed immediate, safe care for her two young daughters while she took the important step of obtaining an Order of Protection.

During the intake process, she shared more about her situation. Just three weeks away from completing her education, she had suddenly lost her childcare support. She also relied entirely on public transportation to get where she needed to go.

Not only was the Crisis Nursery able to provide care for her children that day, but staff also worked alongside her to coordinate continued support so she could finish school. Thanks to donations made through our annual Giving Tree program, bus passes were provided to help remove one more barrier during an already difficult time.

When she returned to pick up her daughters, the relief and gratitude on her face spoke volumes. In a follow-up survey, she shared that the support she received greatly reduced her stress and helped her feel more capable of caring for her children.

Stories like this are a powerful reminder of why the Crisis Nursery exists — to provide safety, stability, compassion, and hope for families during some of their most challenging moments.

In observance of Memorial Day, Crittenton Centers’ offices will be closed on today as we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country. 🇺🇸

While our offices will be closed, our Crisis Nursery will remain open 24/7 for families and children in need of emergency care and support.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful holiday weekend.

We are proud to announce the totals collected during this year’s Community Care Drive!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we received:

🧷 14,107 diapers
🧻 778 packs of wipes
🍼 103 cans of formula
🧸 Additional essential care items valued at $10,880
💵 $3,505 in monetary donations

We are beyond grateful to every individual, business, and organization that collected items, donated, and supported this year’s drive. Your kindness directly helps local children and families receive the basic essentials they need during difficult times.

Each year, Crittenton Centers spends approximately $75,000 on essential care items for the families we serve. Community Care Drive plays a vital role in helping us provide these necessities to our community.

Thank you for making a difference — and helping us make this year’s drive such a success! We can’t wait to make next year’s drive even bigger.
