Dear Entrepreneur,

The State of Illinois is offering $15 million dollars of GRANT funding to minority businesses that are working or would like to work in underserved communities. On Monday, May 13 at 2pm inside the Gateway building, the Department of Commerce will provide an overview of this opportunity, talk about how to apply and answer any questions.

Attached is a link to the actual application, (https://www2.illinois.gov/dceo/AboutDCEO/Pages/2019_OMEE_NOFO.aspx), which includes information and forms that will need to be completed in order to apply for a grant. Please review the attached information, highlight and list any questions you might have, so on May 13th you can ask those questions to the state representatives.

Once again the meeting is Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Gateway Building in downtown Peoria (200 NE Water Street, Peoria, IL 61602). The time is 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Please remember to register at https://nofo513peoria.eventbrite.com.
