📚 Reminder: Meet the Teacher Night is TONIGHT! 🍎

Join us from 4:30–6:00 PM to meet your child’s teacher and get ready for a great school year!

Students are welcome to bring their school supplies tonight if they would like to drop them off early.

Greetings to all Parent, Guardians, and caretakers! I have great news...Drop-off and Pick-up procedures will remain the same for this year. We had a really smooth system last year, and we plan to keep it the same for this school year as well. That being said, if you are unfamiliar with our procedures, they are as follows:
Drop-off: Please pull-up to the front of the building. Students will enter the gym through the double doors next to the front entry doors.
Pick-up: Busses will be lined-up at the front of the school. Car riders will enter the church parking lot next to the school and line-up there. For the first few weeks, I will have someone outside directing you where to stop and wait for the release of car riders. Below are two images detailing these procedures. NES installed a new equipment box at the baseball/softball field, and it looks great! I want to give a huge shout-out to Aaron Lannert for installing the box! Also, I would like to thank Kyle Lutes and CJ Signs for their awesome signage, making sure we always show our Tornado Pride!

This week, many members of the NES band and chorus attended Music Camp. Our young musicians put on a fantastic show, complimented by some Raber Packing Co. hot dogs and sno-cones. It was a great evening, and our students were nothing short of amazing!!!! I would like to give a big shout-out to Miss Horton and Ms. Fryman for all of their hardwork and effort.

The Lady Tornadoes played their season-opener last night against Georgetowne. Our girls put-up a tough fight, but in the end, came up short a few runs: 9-6. We'll get them next time! Great try, Tornadoes!!!

WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!!! The start of school is on August 12th, and we can't wait to see all of your smiling faces! We will have a one hour early dismissal (1:30) for the first three days of school.

🎉 Back-to-School Block Party! 🎉

Join us this Friday, August 7th from 4:30-7pm, as we kick off an amazing school year with our Back-to-School Block Party! This fun-filled event is a fundraiser benefiting our Music Department.

💦 What to Wear:Please wear clothes and shoes you're okay getting wet in. Swimsuits are not necessary, as no one will be submerged in water.

🌭 Food: For $5, you'll receive a hot dog, chips, and a drink. If you aren't planning to eat, admission to the event is free!

🍧 Snow cones will also be available for $2 each.
