🚧 Front & Main Street Construction Update 🚧

🛠️ Main Street construction is well underway, and the project remains on schedule! Crews are finishing asphalt and concrete removals while finalizing temporary water plans.

💧 Temporary Water & Underground Work
Water testing is scheduled for Thursday and Friday. If all tests come back good, affected businesses will be switched to temporary water on Monday, with anticipated water interruptions of no more than two hours. Businesses will be contacted before the switch.

If everything goes according to plan, underground watermain work will begin Tuesday.

📅 Weekly construction meetings are back! Join us Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. at the Cole Memorial Building for the public portion of the project update.

⚠️ IMPORTANT DETOUR REMINDER:

Temporary ALL-WAY STOPS are in place at:
🛑 Rasmussen Road & E. Woodman Street
🛑 Rasmussen Road & E. Sibley Street

Please slow down and pay close attention to detour signage. These temporary stops are necessary to safely keep traffic moving during construction.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE: SATURDAYS UNDER THE BOBBER XL 🚨

Due to the forecasted weather today, Saturday, August 15, the daytime portion of Saturdays Under the Bobber XL has been CANCELLED.

To protect our vendors, equipment, and everyone involved, the difficult judgment call was made to cancel the beginning portion of today’s festival and the planned festivities in Trailside Park.

🎶 The Mark Peterson Band is still planning to perform from 7–9 p.m. in Trailside Park!

Our Pequot Lakes businesses remain open, so we encourage you to stop in, shop, grab a bite to eat, and support our local businesses today.

Aside from the Mark Peterson Band at 7 p.m., today’s festivities in the park have been cancelled.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our vendors, businesses, musicians, and community.

🚧 **Front & Main Street Construction Update** 🚧

There’s a lot happening downtown as we transition into the Main Street phase of the project! First, some good news — Front Street has received its final top layer of pavement and is NOW REOPENED!

We appreciate everyone’s patience during the brief closure while crews completed the final lift of asphalt. We know the timing—alongside the Main Street closure—created some inconvenience, and we thank you for working with us as the project progresses.

🛣️ Main Street Update
Main Street is now closed as we move into the next phase of construction. The stoplight at Patriot Avenue and Main Street has been removed as part of early preparation work.

The contractor plans to begin removing existing asphalt on Monday, August 17. After that, crews will coordinate with affected businesses before starting underground utility work.

🚗 Detours & Access
Detour signage is in place. Please follow posted business access routes—downtown businesses remain open and accessible, and we encourage continued support.

📅 Weekly Meetings
Construction meetings have resumed and are held Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. at the Cole Memorial Building. The public is welcome to attend the first portion for project updates and the upcoming schedule.

🚧 Front Street Paving Update – No Parking Tonight & Tomorrow 🚧

A quick construction update for Front Street! The contractor is planning to pave the final wear course on Front Street tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12, with work expected to begin around 6:30 a.m.
⚠️ There will be NO PARKING on Front Street beginning tonight and throughout paving tomorrow. Please make sure all vehicles are removed from Front Street so crews can complete the work as efficiently as possible.
Someone will also be stopping by businesses today to help make sure everyone is aware of tomorrow’s paving.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience as we get another big piece of the Front Street project checked off the list! 🚧👏

🚧 Front & Main Street Construction Update 🚧

We’re gearing up for the Main Street phase of the construction project!

⚠️ MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC BEGINNING MONDAY, AUGUST 10.

Beginning Monday, August 10, the contractor plans to do preparation work for the Main Street phase. This is expected to take approximately 3–4 days.

The Main Street phase of construction is scheduled to begin Monday, August 17, starting with reclamation of the existing asphalt.

Detour and directional signage will be placed to help guide motorists through the area.

As always, construction schedules are tentative and may change due to weather, crew availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we begin the next phase of these important improvements!
