Bring the Loft To You is one of the really great programs available through the library system. The Loft Literary Center provides the teaching artists for several online workshops available for FREE!
The next session in this year's Bring the Loft to You writers workshops will focus on discovering how to create story outlines that keep your plot focused and engaging. This class will cover essential outlining techniques, from structuring key plot points to developing character arcs, ensuring your story stays on track from start to finish.

Opening the Bring The Loft To You virtual writing class series for 2026 is "Jumpstarting Creativity." This session is available for FREE on this Thursday evening (March 12) at 6:00pm. To attend this class online through Zoom, registration is required at tinyurl.com/Writing-Spring2026
The session is also available for viewing at the Perham Library on Thursday at 6:00pm. Please call the library in advance to let them know that you plan to attend.

This series of writing workshops is a great opportunity for all writers! What an opportunity to have access to not just one but three writing sessions led by teaching artists from the Loft Literary Center! All sessions are free and available in the comfort of your own house via Zoom, but if you prefer to gather with others, all sessions will also be shown on the big screen in the Perham Library's meeting room. It's Winter-time! And that means that the library's Winter Reading program for adults is in full-swing. Pick up your Hot Reads for Cold Nights card at the library and start having your reading count toward prizes! This year our mug is purple and features a jaunty little bird bundled up for winter. It's yours if you read 9 books in January, February and March.
