More and more, our crews are being called out for multiple transfers at a time. We transfer patients from Perham Health to bigger hospitals nearly everyday, traveling to hospitals in Fargo, St. Cloud, Duluth, the Cities, and even Rochester. These transfers are vital to getting patients to the care they need.

When more than one transfer needs to go at the same time, our crews start making calls. We operate with two crews on at a time. Being community-run and community-minded, we need to keep an ambulance in town. So we call off-duty personnel to come in and cover the town so the transfers can go in a timely manner. Most of the time, we are able to find staff willing to come in during their off-time to keep things running smoothly!

It’s a testament to a team that never hesitates to step up—answering the call not just because it’s their job, but because this community is their home and its people are their priority.

Thank you so much to 1894, everyone that entered a stroganoff, everyone that contributed to the auctions, and everyone that attended! It was such a fun event, and will make a big difference for us to be able to keep our ambulances stocked with lifesaving equipment! We love our community!

Thanks to our neighbors at 1894 for hosting this fun event for Perham Area EMS! Join us if you can!

1894 is excited to announce that this year's Strogan'off will benefit the Perham Area EMS!! This event has always been a fun one but this year's sure to be a doozy! Plan to join us March 14; after the official judging @ 2, the Church kitchen will make noodles & all are welcome to decide who should get their name on the trophy this year! Silent and live auctions and people's choice voting never disappoint!
Interested in entering? The rules are simple have a sauce (only, no noodles) in a crock pot at 1894 by 130, our distinguished panel of judges will determine 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners & the crowd decides people's choice! Prizes will be awarded and all proceeds will go to help cover operating expenses for the Perham Area EMS.
