With the 2025–2026 school year officially in the books, Pennridge School Board President Carolyn Sciarrino shared her June report at Monday night's board meeting, expressing appreciation to the teachers, staff, families, and community members who made this year a success.

"Thank you for your dedication, engagement, and partnership this year... While change is not always easy, I am grateful for the respectful dialogue and shared commitment to doing what is best for all students."

Key highlights from the final report of the year:
🌟 District Progress: Advancing student achievement across all levels—from early childhood learning through advanced student research and presentation.
🤝 Respectful Dialogue: Grateful for vital community engagement and feedback on major initiatives like full-day kindergarten, elementary rezoning, and conversations regarding South Middle School.
🏳️‍🌈 Pride Month Recognition: Highlighting the diversity of our community and the importance of ensuring a welcoming, respectful environment for all.

Congratulations to the new board!

Nathaniel, Carly and Thomas were sworn in last night by Judge Gary Gambardella.

Carolyn Sciarrino was elected President, and Leah Foster-Rash was elected Vice President for a term of 1 year. The first Pennridge school board meeting of the new year will be in January.

Thank you to everyone who voted, volunteered, and contributed to make this outcome possible!
