Dear Pennridge Community,
As we bring the 2025–2026 school year to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout the year. Serving as Superintendent of the Pennridge School District is a responsibility I take seriously every day, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such an outstanding community.
As I reflect on this school year, I am reminded that one of the greatest challenges in writing a letter like this is deciding what to highlight. Pennridge is a large and vibrant school district, and while I will share some of the accomplishments that stood out to me, I know I will inevitably leave out many deserving students, staff members, programs, performances, competitions, and acts of kindness that made a difference throughout the year. If there is one thing I have learned during my time in Pennridge, it is that extraordinary things are happening in our schools every day, often without fanfare or recognition. The real story of Pennridge is found in those daily moments of learning, growth, service, and connection that take place across our district.
This year, our students achieved remarkable success. We celebrated our largest number of National Merit Scholars, Ivy League acceptances, Advanced Placement accomplishments, STEM innovation, and outstanding performances in academic competitions. Our Career and Technical Education students and SkillsUSA competitors continued to demonstrate exceptional talent, earning recognition and showcasing the value of hands-on learning and workforce preparation.
The arts and music programs also had an extraordinary year. From student artwork receiving regional and state recognition to vocal and instrumental performances that filled our schools and community with pride, our students continued to demonstrate creativity, dedication, and excellence. On our athletic fields, courts, tracks, and stages, students represented Pennridge with determination, sportsmanship, and heart.
What makes me most proud, however, is not simply what our students accomplished, but who they continue to become. Throughout the year, I witnessed countless examples of kindness, service, leadership, and perseverance. Whether through Unified Art and Music, RamPacks, April Showers, community service projects, or the everyday acts of helping a classmate or supporting a friend, our students regularly demonstrated the character that defines Pennridge. We also continued important work as a district. Together, we advanced priorities connected to our Comprehensive Plan, expanded opportunities for students, strengthened instructional programs, and continued preparing learners for success beyond graduation.
We also dedicated significant time to preparing for the full implementation of our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. Throughout the year, teachers, administrators, counselors, and support staff participated in extensive training and planning to strengthen our identification and response to students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This important work will be fully implemented this fall and represents a major step forward in ensuring every student receives the support they need to succeed. Looking ahead, we are excited to implement Full-Day Kindergarten, and we were proud to secure a $1.5 million STEM+M grant that will expand hands-on learning opportunities for students and support innovative programming in engineering, manufacturing, robotics, automation, and other future-ready fields. This investment will help create meaningful experiences that connect classroom learning with real-world applications and career opportunities.
All of the aforementioned accomplishments are the result of dedicated teachers, support staff, administrators, Board members, families, and community partners who invest their time, talent, and energy in our students. Pennridge is fortunate to have people who care about public education and who show up every day committed to helping children succeed.

As summer begins, I hope you find time to slow down, enjoy one another, and make lasting memories with family and friends. This July, our nation will celebrate its 250th anniversary, a remarkable milestone that reminds us of the values, freedoms, and opportunities that unite us as Americans. I hope your family has a wonderful and safe Fourth of July as we celebrate this historic occasion together. Thank you for your continued support of the Pennridge School District. I am proud of what we accomplished together this year. While we celebrate these successes, we also recognize that our work continues. The foundation we strengthened this year positions us well for the future, and I am excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue building on our momentum. I am already looking forward to hitting the ground running in August as we begin another exciting school year.
Enjoy your summer.
All good wishes,
Dr. Angelo G. Berrios III
