Congressman Mark Takano visited EMWD today to celebrate a nearly $1.1 million federal earmark for our Well 84 Replacement Project.

This vital funding allows us to improve our high-capacity pumping equipment and make technical upgrades that ensure long-term efficiency and reliability for our infrastructure. This project restores production to one of the 15 brackish water wells feeding our desalination facility. By maximizing our local resources, we continue to provide safe, clean, and reliable drinking water to our growing community.

A sincere thank you to Rep. Takano for his steadfast support of EMWD and our mission to secure a sustainable water future.
