🚨 The Truth is Unfolding: Corruption, Cronyism, and Mismanagement in Our School District 🚨
What we’ve uncovered is just the beginning. Steve Campos, Edward Garcia, and their allies have shown they care more about lining their pockets and pushing their personal agendas than they do about our students, teachers, and staff.
At every step of the way, Elizabeth Vallejo has been the ONLY board member fighting for the well-being of our students, staff, and teachers.
Let’s break down the facts:
🔴 Nepotism and Cronyism
Steve Campos and Edward Garcia, along with their allies, have hired friends and campaign allies to key district positions, including Alfredo Andrade, who they voted to hire as Human Resources Director—despite serious concerns about his qualifications. Andrade is the same person they paid thousands in consulting fees as their campaign treasurer. This is a blatant conflict of interest and shows that their decisions are driven by personal connections, not the needs of our schools.
🔴 Misuse of Campaign Funds
All board members, except for Elizabeth Vallejo and David Nelissen, received $10,000 from the Perris Secondary Educators Association (PSEA), led by Jason Miller. Jaime Anaya, a 2024 candidate, also received the same amount and even hired the SAME treasurer as Edward Garcia and Anthony Stafford—both of whom have taken money from the PSEA without clear transparency about where these funds have gone.
🔴 Hurting the District with Incompetence
Through their votes, Steve Campos and Edward Garcia have actively hurt our district. Whether it’s voting for unqualified candidates or refusing to enact policies that protect the needs of our students and staff, their lack of action, combined with incompetence, has weakened our schools. Their choices have pushed our district further into dysfunction, leaving students and teachers without the support they deserve.
🔴 Bias and Special Interests
These board members are deeply connected to special interests that have no place in our education system. Steve Campos has donated money to political causes while while PSEA president Jason Miller is increasing membership dues by 50% for all PSEA members, ignoring the impact it has on our community. They are mixing politics and personal gain with their responsibilities to our schools.
📢 CALL TO ACTION: Join us in our fight to RECALL Steve Campos and Edward Garcia. Their corruption, bias, and negligence have gone unchecked for too long. If you’ve experienced or witnessed similar injustices, share your stories with us—openly or anonymously. We are building a case to ensure these individuals are removed and our district can finally move forward with real leadership.
Our students, teachers, and community deserve better. It’s time to take action.
