Bill Lavender, the founder of AgAir Update, an international agricultural aviation publication that has been based at the Perry-Houston County Airport since 1996, has been nominated for induction into the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame. In addition to basing his business on the airport, Bill learned to fly at PXE in the early 1970s. Read his bio and vote today!

Wonder of wonders!! We have an available open-T (shade) hangar for immediate occupancy. If you have an airworthy airplane and it is in flying condition, and you want a place to keep it out of the sun, give us a call. Open-T hangars are $115 per month in advance. First-come, first-served on this one.

PXE and EAA 38 is having a joint meeting at the Corporate Hangar on Saturday, September 24. EAA 38 is hosting a Taco Lunch (cost $5) from 1130 to 1300. The PXE Air Force Safety Seminar will begin at 1300. Topics include collision avoidance, non-towered airport operations, AF flight profiles, Robins AFB space management and runway incursions. Discussions will be led by personnel from the RAFB tower, J-STARS, RAFB Flight Safety and United Airlines. PXE is offering a 25-cent/gallon discount for aircraft flying in for the meeting. Be sure to mention the discount to the line person.
