On Tuesday, August 18,2026 at approximately 3:00 PM Deputy Keith observed a motorist driving through the Morrison school zone. Deputy Keith conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. Something seemed off, so Deputy Masters arrived to assist.

After a quick sniff around the car, Diesel the K9, alerted to the odor of illegal substance. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered 131 grams of methamphetamine, 33 narcotic pills, $730 in cash, and a loaded 9mm handgun tucked under the driver's seat—right where the convicted felon had been sitting moments before.

We are very proud of our Deputies and the commitment they have to keeping our community safe.

**This is considered on ongoing investigation where all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

⚠️ SCAM ALERT – PLEASE SHARE ⚠️

The Perry Chamber of Commerce wants to alert our community about a fraudulent website advertising a business called Coyote Creek Tractor Depot, claiming to be located on 15th Street in Perry, Oklahoma.

This business does NOT exist.

Fortunately, to our knowledge, no one has fallen victim to this scam. However, the Chamber has received several phone calls from consumers attempting to verify the business before making a purchase. We have had to inform each caller that there is no legitimate business by this name operating in Perry.

The fraudulent website has been reported, and we are hopeful it will be taken down soon. In the meantime, Noble County law enforcement is actively working to prevent anyone from becoming a victim of this scam.

Please help us protect our friends, neighbors, and fellow community members by sharing this post and spreading the word. If something seems too good to be true, take a few minutes to verify the business before sending money or providing personal information.

After 28 years of dedicated service with the Sheriff’s Office, Administration Assistant Christie Punneo is retiring. We are grateful for her commitment and the many sacrifices and contributions she has made throughout her career.
As Christie begins this new chapter, we are pleased to welcome Brittany Rhoades to our team as her successor. We look forward to the experience, enthusiasm and skills she brings to the role and are excited to have her join us.

We are incredibly grateful for this donation of stuffed animals to the Sheriff’s Office from a thoughtful local citizen who wished to remain anonymous!
