The City Of Perry Fire Department has partnered with Red Cross to make sure every home in the City of Perry and Taylor County has new smoke detectors.If you are in need of new smoke alarms call 850-584-3311 and get you name on the list. If you live within the city limits City Fire firefighters will come install them for you. If you live in the county we will forward you info to Red Cross and they will schedule a time to come install them if needed.

Please replace your batteries in all smoke detectors twice a year. Best way to remember this is when the time changes it’s time to change batteries

B shift done a great job installing the new Ready Rack bunker gear racks. City of Perry Fire Department purchased these racks from Ten-8 Fire &Safety.

City of Perry Fire Department now has a new Cascade System. We took delivery of the new system last week and now have a new safer fill station for firefighters to refill our SCBA bottles. Thanks to the City Manager John Hart and the City Council for approving the funds to replace the 1980 system that was outdated and out of compliance. I also want to thank Channel Innovations for the great customer service from sales to delivery.
