The Mayor has confirmed that a Pest Control company does not have a valid solicitation permit to conduct business in Perry Village. I have informed them to discontinue going door to door. If they come to your house, please inform them that you will be contacting the police department. If you need to report, please do so by calling 440-354-3434.

The Village of Perry Council will hold a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30 PMto discuss selecting a Police Chief (legislation and contract to be considered at a future meeting), and scheduling final interviews for Administrative Assistant.

Both portions will be conducted in an Executive Session to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official. No action will be taken after Executive Session.

Public Announcement:

The Village of Perry will hold its regular council meeting on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall.

Seating is limited due to the room capacity and safety regulations, in-person seating is limited to forty-five (45) attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Realistically, there are only twenty-five chairs in the council room. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. We would appreciate allowing Perry Village Residents to access seats first.

Due to expected interest, we are limiting the first public comment period to Data Center comments only for no more than one hour. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

The meeting will be broadcast live via Google Meet- https://meet.google.com/nws-nith-puo

Residents wishing to address the Council may do so in person or by submitting written comments to [email protected] by 9:00 p.m. on April 9, 2026.
