Blaze has come into our care through no fault of his own and is looking for a new place to call home.

Blaze is about 1.5 years old weighing 60lbs, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. He’s a very energetic boy who would love a home where he can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention!

Although Kelsey has transitioned from her role at Animal Control to become an E-911 operator for the city of Perry, we believe it is important to recognize her achievements during her tenure as Animal Control Officer. We are confident that Grace will carry forward the same compassion and dedication to our animals that Kelsey exemplified.

Happy National Dog Day from the pup who has been in our care the longest — and who has definitely become everyone’s favorite: Bourbon!

Bourbon is still waiting for his furever home and would love nothing more than to celebrate the next National Dog Day with a family of his own.

Thanks to Best Friends Animal Society , Bourbon will be neutered, up to date on vaccines, and his adoption fee is completely waived through 8/30!

We will be here at fur on fir until noon 8/23. Come see the pups. Each pup will go home with a bag of food, treats, new leash and collar.
