🐾 Happy Tails Tuesday: Scarlett! 🎀🐾

This week, we’re checking in on sweet Scarlett, who found her forever home at the beginning of September!

If you met Scarlett during her time at the pound, you probably remember her as our shy girl who preferred to hide rather than explore. Well, look at her now!

Scarlett’s new family says she knows exactly who her humans are and loves them with her whole heart! She’s still a little unsure about strangers and prefers to get to know people on her own terms.

She’s also discovered how much she loves to play, although she’s just as happy when it’s time to curl up in bed!

Seeing Scarlett come out of her shell and gain confidence in her new home is exactly why we love sharing these updates. Sometimes all a dog needs is a little patience, love, and a family to call their own.

Thank you to Scarlett’s family for giving this sweet girl the time and space she needs to blossom! We couldn’t be happier for her!

Happy tails Scarlett !

🐾❤️ October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! ❤️🐾

Did you know that October is dedicated to celebrating shelter dogs and encouraging adoption?

Here at Perry Animal Control, we have some pretty amazing dogs waiting for their chance at a forever home!

Meet Otis, Bubba, and Karma!
These three sweet faces are currently available for adoption, and each is hoping to find a family to call their own.

Every dog that comes through our doors has a different story.Regardless of how they got here, they all deserve a chance at a happy ending.

Our pound is currently at capacity, and every adoption not only changes the life of that dog but also opens up much-needed space for the next animal who needs our help.

Throughout the rest of October, we’ll be highlighting our adoptable dogs and sharing a little more about their personalities in hopes of finding them their perfect matches!

Not able to adopt? You can still help by sharing our posts, spreading the word, or considering fostering!

Interested in adopting Otis, Bubba, or Karma? Contact Perry Animal Control at 580-336-4422
