Please join us in congratulating FF. Swartzentruber on an outstanding accomplishment, successfully completing the Paramedic Program through Central Ohio EMS Training in Lexington and passing her Paramedic certification exam!
Becoming a paramedic is no small feat. The program spans approximately 11 months and consists of a minimum of 900 hours of education, with many students completing closer to 1,500 total hours when classroom instruction, skills labs, clinical rotations, and field internship requirements are combined.
Throughout the course, students must master advanced life-saving skills, critical thinking, pharmacology, cardiology, airway management, trauma care, and countless other complex medical concepts while completing extensive clinical and field experience requirements.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is accomplishing it while balancing the demands of work, family, and everyday life. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance during such an intensive program requires tremendous dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance. Long days in the classroom are often followed by evenings of studying, clinical shifts, and field internships, all while continuing to meet responsibilities at home and on the job.
This accomplishment represents far more than passing an exam. It reflects months of hard work, determination, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to serving others at the highest level of prehospital emergency care.
We are incredibly proud of FF. Swartzentruber and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make as a Paramedic. Congratulations on reaching this major milestone and earning the title of Paramedic, an achievement that few fully understand and one that is truly well deserved!
