We look forward to working together to improve the well-being of animals in our community and help connect them with loving, forever homes. 🐾 Introducing Perryton Animal Shelter Advocates! 🐾

We’re excited to introduce Perryton Animal Shelter Advocates (PASA) — a new “Friends of” volunteer group created by people who believe every animal deserves a chance at a safe, loving home. ❤️🐶🐱

Our mission is simple: to support the animals, support the shelter, and help our community become more aware of the pets waiting for their forever homes.

As volunteers, we’ll be working alongside the Perryton Animal Shelter to:

🐾 Volunteer on-site to provide extra hands, attention, enrichment, socialization and care for the animals.

📣 Increase exposure for shelter pets by sharing their stories, photos and personalities to help connect them with adopters, fosters and rescue organizations.

🏡 Help animals find placement through adoption, foster opportunities and networking with reputable rescue groups.

💙 Advocate for shelter needs by helping bring awareness to the supplies, resources, improvements and support needed to give the animals the best possible care.

🤝 Build community support by bringing together volunteers, adopters, fosters, donors, rescue partners and animal lovers who want to make a difference.

We believe that sometimes all an animal needs is someone to tell their story. A photo. A share. A volunteer. A donation. A ride. A foster home. A second chance.

Every small act of kindness can make a BIG difference. 🐾

This group is just getting started, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

The wading pool will remain drained between requests due to sanitary reasons.
