After 1️⃣4️⃣ YEARS of a suspended license, multiple court dates, classes, fines & getting some old warrants taken care of, Brock is back on the road!

We are proud of all of the work you put into getting your license back👏🏼

Some of our participants worked hard to be able to represent this program & the transformations that are taking place in families.

We are so proud of the powerful messages displayed on these posters made by the participants.

They were ecstatic and when they found out they won 3rd place at the parade. One of them stated “I cried, I felt like we had just won a Grammy.” 😊

Remember : Your sobriety doesn’t just affect YOU.

Thank you for your continued support & words of encouragement. Perry County is an awesome community.

🎉Join us in congratulating our first EVER graduate!!!🎉

For those of you who don’t know, Drug Court is a 14 month intensive program that takes a LOT of hard work and dedication from the participant. Like Brady, most participants have struggled with a life long addiction & Drug Court offers support, guidance and accountability throughout the entirety of the program. Some of the requirements are as follows :

Phase 1 :
• Drug Testing a minimum of 2-3 weekly (participants are required to call the color line daily to know if they have to test)
• 3 Outside Support Groups Weekly
• Community Service
• Mental Health Assessment
• Seeking Employment
• Community Service
• 3 Substance Abuse Classes In Office Weekly
• Weekly Counselor Appointments
• Weekly Appointments with Probation Officer
• Begin GED (if necessary)

As the participants phase up, the requirements are a little less restrictive as long as they have maintained their sobriety and are still making progress in so many areas.

Brady, we are so incredibly proud of you. I don’t think we could have picked a better one to get our program started. You are already doing amazing things & can’t wait to see all of the lives you impact with your story.

Here’s what Brady had to say on Graduation day:
“ Hello, my name is Brady Tucker and I am not an addict. Even though i will never forget where i came from, i can not let my past define me. God has tranformed me by the renewing of my mind and has made me a new creation.

I want to thank a few people that have supported me through out this journey.

My beautiful, soon to be wife Paig, you have been God sent from day 1, you have lived by example and shown me that there is a life worth living sober, thank you for keeping me grounded and never leaving my side.

Carter, Cash, and Asher, from playing football or baseball in the yard to coaching carter in baseball, listening to yalls little voices praying before dinner, i try not to miss a single moment. I love yall.

Journey through recovery, every one of yall have provoked me into my purpose, encouraged me, confronted me when I was in the wrong, and been there for me, when i wasnt able to be there for myself. Thank you.

Mom and Dad
This is a dream come true and a answered prayer for both of yall, it makes me proud of myself to see yall proud of me, thank yall for being the best parents i could ever ask for.

Last but not least my one true God that pulled me out of the pits and set me on a rock solid foundation.”

Heather

Heather Cates has achieved many things on her journey in Perry County Drug Court. On March 19 we celebrated her 1 year in the program and 1 year drug free! Being drug free is hard work alone but Heather has completed all requirements put before her. Just a few Drug Court requirements include maintaining employment, random (very often) drug screens, attending meetings both in the drug court program as well as outside meetings. Most importantly, Heather has achieved a goal of having her family all under one roof! This goal was set by Heather soon after she became sober and she has reached it! We are all so very proud of her and all her accomplishments!

Amazing things can happen when you get clean. Kathy has been sober 6 months and lights up every room that she enters with her smile and witty personality. It’s been a hard fought battle but with support and determination, it’s possible! Kathy attends more NA/outside support groups than what is required during this phase, and she is serious about her sobriety.

Good Job, Kathy!! We are thankful to be a small part of your journey. 👏🏼

Brock McDonald is pictured holding his Phase 2 Certificate! We are extremely proud of his progress in the program, but even more proud of his 140 days of sobriety.

Brock is a proud dad of boys and he is working to show them that living a clean and sober life is very much possible.

We are excited to see all of the success you will achieve in your sobriety, career, as a father and in life in general! Good Job, Brock 👏🏼

Russell is one of our first participants to plead into the Perry County Drug Court Program. He has been sober for several months and is doing well in the program. Since entering the program he has gotten his own residence, secured steady employment and maintained sobriety.

Russell has been in Phase 2 for several weeks and is expected to move to Phase 3 of the program in December.

Good job, Russell. Keep up the good work!

What a difference sobriety can make…The physical transformation is amazing to see, but the life changes that our participant has made over the last several months is remarkable. Chase Hasty has over 115 Days of Sobriety under his belt 🎉

When he entered the program, sometimes he would not have the transportation and would ride his 3-wheeler to get there. That’s the type of dedication that is life changing!

We are incredibly proud of you, Chase! Keep going, one day at a time.
