πŸš‘β€οΈ National CPR & AED Awareness Week | June 1–7 β€οΈπŸš‘

Every year, more than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of hospitals in the United States. When cardiac arrest strikes, immediate CPR and rapid access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can mean the difference between life and death.

During National CPR & AED Awareness Week, ProMed Ambulance encourages everyone to take a few minutes to learn a skill that could one day save a family member, friend, coworker, or even a stranger.

High-quality CPR can double or even triple a person's chance of survival, and AEDs are designed to be simple enough for anyone to use during an emergency. The sooner CPR is started and an AED is applied, the better the outcome.

At ProMed Ambulance, we are proud to support AED placement and preparedness throughout the communities we serve. We work with businesses, industries, schools, churches, and community organizations to improve access to lifesaving AEDs and provide the training needed to use them confidently.

Interested in learning CPR, obtaining certification, hosting a class, or discussing AED options for your organization? Our team at ProMed TEC is here to help.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Arkansas.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A mesoscale convective system was located over northeast
Oklahoma with copious amounts of moisture advection into the
state. Storms are expected to move very slowly or train over
the same locations. Given high precipitable water values in
place combined with storm motion, precipitation rates will be
efficient leading to flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
