Great turnout today for our Cookout with Cops event. Good conversations with our community and our awesome officers! Special thanks to the staff at the OP for always being there and Pastor Reggie for hanging with us as well as Commissioners Linkey, Taylor, Aldridge and Mayor Roath for attending. An event like this cannot be a success without support from many. Many thanks to Elizabeth Ann and MacGregor's Restaurant for the gracious donations that made the event a success as well as the wooden flag made by Ms. Elizabeth’s son. We will find a special place for it in the station.

Please join the Perryville Police Department, the OP staff, and Pastor Reggie this Saturday, 6/12 from 11am-3pm for our Cookout with Cops at the police station. A good time to have some conversations with our officers and support staff. We hope to see you there!

Today, officers/troopers/deputies from various agencies participated in the annual MD Special Olympics Torch run. The run traversed along Route 40 from Williams Chevrolet (MD/DE line) and ended at the North East town park. It was approximately 10 miles and our very own Officer Huffstutler ran the entire stretch all for a great cause! We think Officer Speis and Huffstutler will feel it tomorrow! Great job everyone. Happy Administrative professionals day to our very own Ms. Kim! She really is the glue that holds our work family together; whether it be by getting our officers birthday cards for their special day, finding paperwork that we just can’t find or most importantly making sure the candy bowl in the office is filled with wonderful goodies. Thank you Ms. Kim for all you do! We appreciate all your hard work!

Any way to get an officer to patrol on Aiken Ave for speeders? People are definitely not going 25.
I would like to personally thank all of our officers for their presence this morning. Even after the roads were opened, you all stayed nearby and made your presence known. Because of the extra presence during bus pickups and drop offs at the schools, my children were less worried about the situation all together. My daughter even said “It’s okay mom, the officers here will keep us safe” as she got out of the car this morning at the school. So Thank you PPD, MSP, CCSO and the other agencies involved! You’re appreciated more than you know! 🖤💙🖤
Come back to Chesapeake Landing and get these jerks from setting off fireworks. The guy in the blue suv did an awesome job this afternoon but who ever took over in the white car went thru once about 2 hours ago and haven't seen him again n the fireworks continue going off in 3 different directions. My child I'd upset n so are my dogs. This is unacceptable!!!!!!
