1. As a reminder the Cecil County Sheriff's Office does not call you to ask you to pay bonds, civil judgements or any other financial arrangement. Scammers are using the names of actual Deputies and leaving messages soliciting unwitting victims.

2. We have been alerted that scammers are calling potential victims telling them that their power is going to be shut off. The person that alerted us said that they received a call from someone claiming to be from BGE. As the person is not a BGE customer they knew it was a scam.

Today, officers/troopers/deputies from various agencies participated in the annual MD Special Olympics Torch run. The run traversed along Route 40 from Williams Chevrolet (MD/DE line) and ended at the North East town park. It was approximately 10 miles and our very own Officer Huffstutler ran the entire stretch all for a great cause! We think Officer Speis and Huffstutler will feel it tomorrow! Great job everyone. Any way to get an officer to patrol on Aiken Ave for speeders? People are definitely not going 25.
I would like to personally thank all of our officers for their presence this morning. Even after the roads were opened, you all stayed nearby and made your presence known. Because of the extra presence during bus pickups and drop offs at the schools, my children were less worried about the situation all together. My daughter even said “It’s okay mom, the officers here will keep us safe” as she got out of the car this morning at the school. So Thank you PPD, MSP, CCSO and the other agencies involved! You’re appreciated more than you know! 🖤💙🖤
Come back to Chesapeake Landing and get these jerks from setting off fireworks. The guy in the blue suv did an awesome job this afternoon but who ever took over in the white car went thru once about 2 hours ago and haven't seen him again n the fireworks continue going off in 3 different directions. My child I'd upset n so are my dogs. This is unacceptable!!!!!!
Hey guys! Print this flyer out and go tomorrow and help support Perryville high school baseball teams please and thank you!!!
