Storms will develop over north Arkansas by mid afternoon with a risk for damaging winds and hail!

A severe thunderstorm watch will be issued soon for areas north and east of Little Rock!

06/01/2026

Yesterday, we saw a couple of severe storms, but the setup made it tricky to pinpoint exactly where they would develop.

Today, confidence is higher that some severe weather will occur this afternoon and into the evening.

We believe the area highlighted in yellow has the best chance of seeing a severe storm.

The primary threats will be damaging winds and hail.

The tornado risk is not zero, but it remains very low.

As always, we will continue to monitor conditions and keep you updated throughout the day.
