We’re excited to see Bike Arkansas Magazine highlighting one of the great gravel riding experiences right here in Perry County - the route from Lake Sylvia Recreation Area through the Ouachita National Forest and Flatside Wilderness to the historic Hollis Country Store!

This ride offers exactly what makes cycling in our part of Arkansas so special: quiet gravel roads, beautiful forests, challenging hills, winding routes and the opportunity to experience the rugged beauty of the Ouachita Mountains.

And at the end of the ride? A well-earned stop at one of our oldest businesses in Perry County - the historic Hollis Country Store, where Donnie & Gena Crain are ready to welcome cyclists with a legendary fried bologna sandwich, an old-fashioned soft drink and homemade pie...

That’s an important thought for us to remember as we continue working to build the future we all aspire to for Perry County.

The market is setup & ready for you! We've got some of your old favorites, some brand-new ones, and the Perry County 4-H is selling hot dogs. Should be a great market - come check it out as well as our downtown businesses. It'll be running until Noon- so before things get too hot!
