🚨 Arkansas Code § 27-51-1004 🚨

Prohibits drivers from passing a stopped school bus that displays alternating flashing red warning lights. All vehicles approaching from any direction must come to a complete stop before reaching the bus and remain stopped until the bus moves again.Key Rules of the LawAll Directions Must Stop: Drivers meeting or following a school bus from either direction must stop.When to Remain Stopped: You must stay stopped until the bus finishes loading or unloading students and starts moving.Reckless Disregard: Violating this law with a reckless disregard for the safety of children is classified as a Class A misdemeanor.

The water department had to do some work on a water line early this morning. It has really stirred up the water, please be very careful before doing laundry. We are flushing our lines to try to get it all flushed out as quickly as we can.

A public meeting will be held on August 13, 2026, at 6:00pm in the meeting room at Perryville City Hall (613 N Fourche Ave) to discuss improvements to the city park.
The public is encouraged to attend.
