To say thank you to our Veterans just wouldn’t be enough to show the amount of appreciation we have for those who have served. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of those who have served our country past and present. We have volunteers who fight fires for our department who also fought for our country, and we thank and all of you. Happy Veterans Day🇺🇸🇺🇸

We want to sincerely thank one of the newer members of our team, Lauren Hacker, who as the result of her efforts in submitting a grant on our behalf was able to provide us with all these items for our station! Through the generosity of Thrivent Action Teams, our station has received many products that will help our operations and keep our firefighters sustained on calls.
Thank you Lauren for your hard work!!

Last weekend the beginning of a two part training was held as part of our AFG grant fulfillment that was awarded to us in the fall of 2023. This same grant allowed us to purchase new turnout gear for all our firefighters and new SCBA equipment.
This SCBA training was held at the Perryville Fire Department last weekend and will conclude this weekend. During this training our firefighters were able to learn how to properly use and care for the SCBA equipment as well as proper procedures for emergency situations. We were able to extend this training to other neighboring departments. Those in attendance were from Biehle, Perryville, East Perry County, Sedgewickville. Thank you to everyone who has helped and participated!!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the firefighters in Idaho that were killed in the line of duty when someone opened fire on them while fighting a brush fire. We are praying for them as well as their team members who worked along side of them.
This job can be dangerous on so many levels we appreciate those who serve our community from all sides of law enforcement and public safety. We pray for them to return home safely at the end of every call.
