That was a great time! This morning, Illinois Valley Building and Construction Trades Council and I were in the WLPO studio with Rod to talk about the June 12th charity golf outing that the United Way will be the recipient of.

Finally, Tonica Fire Department gets the boot! And it's a coveted boot that everyone wants to receive! Tonica raised an impressive $2,557.54 in 3 hours to support our local community. Fire Chief, Al Stremlau, proudly accepted the trophy on behalf of the fire department, and thank you to United Way board member Bobby Tieman,
(far right), for representing us that evening and inspiring all the supporters!

Thank you to the real hero's and your incredible support at the United Way of Illinois Valleys "From Flames to Fundraising" event last Friday! The dedication and hard work contributed to a fantastic success, raising nearly $11,000 for our community.

Congratulations to Tonica Fire for winning the Boot Trophy by raising the most funds!

Also, thank you to the bars that welcomed the fire departments behind the bar to pour drinks.

We are so grateful for all of our partnership.

Join us this Friday from 7-10pm around the Illinois Valley as the local fireman serve up drinks to raise money for the United Way.

Come see these smiling faces and enjoy a night of laughter and good cheer, all while supporting a great cause.

Thank you, OSF Saint Paul Medical Center, for your generous support! We are grateful for the partnership we share. The recent in-house fundraiser was not only enjoyable but also incredibly impactful.

Members of our board of directors for the United Way of Illinois Valley were happy to accept the proceeds while enjoying cocktails and appetizers together. A special thank you to Tony Andere from OSF, who presented the check and is also a valued board member.

🔥🍻It's back! One of the most anticipated nights of the year! 🔥🍻

Friday, February 6th from 7-10PM, From Flames to Fundraising, where our local fireman will be trading in their hoses for shakers at the annual Celebrity Bartending event!

This friendly competition brings our brave firefighters together to see who can raise the most tips for the United Way of Illinois Valley. It's not just about pouring drinks; it's about giving back to our community and local friends and neighbors.

These heroes show up on and off the job, lets thank them for all their hard work by coming out, having a blast, tipping, and see who can bring home the Fire Boot Trophy!
