FF Spotlight: Nicholas Curtin 🚨

FF Curtin has been a member of the Peru Fire Department for almost 14 years! Nick has been in the fire service in some fashion since he turned 16 for a total of 18 years. FF Curtin is also a firefighter for Tinley Park and Spring Valley.

FF Curtin’s favorite memory with Peru Fire is a time during the airshow when rain came and caused a large number of cars to become stuck in the muddy parking lot. Nick enjoyed being able to pull out several cars and help people get home.

A fun fact about Nick is that he is a HAM radio operator and even runs his own radio frequency called “Curtcom.”

Firefighter Spotlight: Joe Suarez 🔥

FF Suarez celebrates 9 years of service with the PFD this week! His favorite part of the job is being able to come to the aid of others when they are in most need of help.

FF Saurez's favorite memory with the PFD are all of the family gatherings and get togethers with other members.

A fun fact about FF Suarez is that he loves to build things and has even built his two sons a treehouse!
