This week, in observance of National Police Week, Melissa and Team Olivero delivered baked goods to law enforcement agencies throughout LaSalle, Bureau, and Grundy Counties. As a former military police officer and prosecutor, Melissa understands the challenges faced by law enforcement officers. She wanted to thank them for their efforts to keep our communities safe.

This weekend Melissa visited the 3 French Hens Market and several local businesses in Morris. She met hundreds of potential voters and talked about her campaign for Circuit Judge. It was exciting to meet so many supportive people! On to November!!

GETTING TO KNOW MELISSA: Melissa is a U.S. Army veteran. She served on active duty in Germany and Washington state from 1990 to 1994 and remained in the Reserves until 1998. Her military specialty was Military Police and she served as a platoon leader, executive officer, company commander, and staff officer. Melissa has lived a life of integrity, leadership, decisiveness, professionalism, and service. She holds several awards and decorations including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and Parachutist Badge. Melissa is the only veteran in this race and if elected will be the only veteran judge in the 13th Judicial Circuit.
