I honestly adore each and every one…and have memories of each that warm my heart and soul. They ALL make our world a better place! Congrats, seniors! These are photos of me with my Symphonic Band seniors that are graduating in less than 2 weeks. They (along with my Concert Band & Choir seniors) have absolutely NO idea how much they have been an integral part of my life over the last 4 years! Most of them never will know. They have been my North Star and guiding light. They have been my salve and elixir in life. They have made coming to work each and every day a motivating and worthwhile endeavor…even on “bad” days. These particular students absolutely give me hope in our future. They are brilliant, empathetic, passionate, caring, resilient, and talented (and many other adjectives that I forgot to list). I love every single one of them! Thanks to each of them for making my life and job better every day over the last 4 years! I wish each of them nothing less than the best that life has to offer them!!! 💚💛💚💛

A hearty congratulations for great performances last night to my Jazz Ensemble and Choir students! There was a lot of music performed! I was very proud of all! Once again…to MY seniors? 😭😭😭. You are an amazingly talented and wonderful graduating class!!! To all my students…thank for choosing to make music with each other…and with me. I do not take it for granted. It is a privilege to get to work with you each day. Because of all of you, my heart is full each day! Once again, kudos and congrats to all!

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the hard work of all these students, especially our graduating seniors!

Special shout out to EFM Treasurer, Amy Lichty for all she has done, above and beyond. These students have been so lucky for her support these last 4 years!

So incredibly proud of all my Freshmen Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band students last night! They each put on a fine performance at their Spring Awards Concert! Even though my brain became more and more scattered as they night went on! My humblest apologies for anything I misprinted or forgot! And to my seniors…yes…MY seniors? All I have to say is…😭😭😭. You’re the absolute best that a teacher could ever ask for! To ALL of my band students? You make my heart full each day that I get the privilege of working with you!
