Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to our amazing McKinley and PACS teachers. Amazing is not a throwaway word. It’s the honest truth. From how you held it together through the pandemic to pushing through years that seem like too much, don’t ever think for one moment that you haven’t made a difference. Every day that you show up for your students, you teach them and you guide them and you leave your mark on who they will become. We see you and we appreciate you with all of our hearts.

Where will you be on Saturday? McKinley’s Cinco de Mayo Festival! 🎉 From games to dancing and wonderful food, this is an event not to be missed. Plus, it’s one of McKinley’s biggest fundraisers of the year and we could really use your support. So come hungry and ready for fun! Doors open at noon.

Every 2 years, the PTA must install a new board. If we don’t find a new PTA President and Secretary, we won’t have a PTA. It’s a dire situation. We have less than a month to find our next leaders and get ready to plan for 2026-27. We’d also love to find a VP of Communications and a VP of Fundraising. Can you help keep the PTA going? …bring fresh eyes and perspective? The work to keep all the extras at McKinley is so important. From PE to garden learning to performing arts - let’s keep it all in place for the kids. We really need you.
